What the brewers say

"Aged for 14 months in Superstition's Framboesa Atando barrels."

What our panel thought

“Subtle, pleasant, jammy aroma. The flavor takes this beer to _mind blowing. _Raspberry-chocolate explosion with a sweet honey-like finish.”

What our editors thought

“Soft berry note in the nose, subtle with a bit of chocolate. In the sip, a similarly subtle fruit-chocolate interplay. Heavy body and concise sweetness are just enough to highlight the berry while maintaining some reserved distance. Tight roast notes and light caramel add dimension.”

Moksa In Good Company

Medium-intensity tropical notes—overripe pineapple—with dull chives and chalky minerality, resin, and pepper. Mild bready-sweet malt; firm, assertive bitterness. Dank resin, orange peel, garlic, and peppery hop in the finish.

Anderson Valley Brewing Co. Framboise Rose Gose

“Muddled raspberry and dried red chilies dominate the nose. First impression was raspberry seltzer cut with a bit of lime. A hint of salt in the last bit of flavor—like the watery salt from an almost-empty margarita.”

Moksa Brewing Co Soulful Memories

“Raisins, currants, carrot cake, super-rich chocolate dominate the nose. Intensely sweet with burnt caramel, toffee, cacao, coconut, bourbon, peach, a hint of allspice. The booze is the major player here.”
